Description
Since I started using PrusaConnect, I have been playing with the idea of using an ESP32 Cam for remote monitoring. After some searching, I found a software solution or description for integrating the camera into PrusaConnect. See https://github.com/johnyHV/PrusaConnect_ESP32-CAM.
Also very helpful was a thread I found in the Prusa forum: https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/user-mods-enclosures-nozzles/esp32-cam-support/
Because I didn't like the ready-made solutions 100%, I made my own design. But thanks a lot for the inspiration.
Printing
I printed the parts with 0.2 layers. Supports are only needed for Camera_case_05.
Assembly
The parts Camera_case_03 and Camera_case_04 are joined together with M3x12 hexagon socket screws. The finished arm is then attached to the x-axis stepper motor.
In my housing I use a 12V power supply for the LED strips. So that I can also use this voltage for the ESP32 Cam, I got myself one of these ultra-compact DC-DC buck converters.
