Description
🟩 First and foremost: I’ve worked hard on this, so I’d love to see your creations, folks! 🙏😜
Have you ever lost your deburring tool right when you needed to clean up a print, only to realize a replacement from overseas will take weeks to arrive? Print your own instead!
This sleek, ergonomic Deburring Tool & Brim Remover is designed specifically for post-processing your 3D prints. Featuring a textured diamond-knurled grip labeled "brim", it offers precise control when trimming flash, smoothing sharp edges, or cleanly slicing off print brims in a single smooth pass.
🛠 How It Works
Insert: Push the metal blade shaft into the hole at the top of the handle, click!
Lock: Screw the threaded sleeve down over the outside of the handle. As you tighten it, it squeezes the slotted tip together, clamping the blade firmly in place so it won't wobble during use.
🖨 Recommended Print Settings
Handle
Material: PETG strongly recommended (provides the necessary flex for the slot to clamp down without breaking, plus great durability).
Infill: 30% (gives good structural strength and a solid feel).
Brim: YES (essential, as it prints tall and thin vertically).
Screw Sleeve / Cap
Material: PLA or PETG (default slicer settings work great).
Infill: 15–20%.
Brim: Optional / No.
