Description
While my brother is renovating his basement, I have his Ender. He has brought up that he doesn't like how the wires for the heat bed and the power cord rub up against each other. So I made this simple guide to keep the cables away from each other. It still allows the cables to still move from front to back and does not impede with any of the printer functions. I added a little cut on the outside of the guide to create an opening to feed in the wires. Since the cut is small, the printer may lightly fuse it together on layers. I was easily able to break that connection with my tweezers. Because of the way the cut is made, any pressure from inside the holder will not open the slot, and the opening is pretty undetectable after feeding the wires inside. It attaches to the frame with T-nuts. I used these.
Here's a quick video of the install to see how it attaches to the frame.
