I needed a mobile phone holder to go in my car but the vents in a 2012 VW Jetta are such that the "vent mount" type mounting accessories would fall off - even with a comparatively light phone (Samsung Galaxy S23).

Mark 1 melted a bit printed in PLA and so I beefed up the thickness, added a second flange with additional screw holes and printed it in PC which did the trick.

Hopefully it saves someone some time in metrology and prototyping! 

UPDATE: I upgraded my phone case so the old phone bracket didn't fit. I created my own ball joint and mount for a QuadLock case using a spare QuadLock interface piece that I had. The Brass threaded inserts can be easily drifted into the moving park of the joint using a soldering iron.
