Vỏ Case Raspberry Pi SSD (SSDPi)

I've been using SATA to USB adapters for my Raspberry Pi's for a while now. I highly prefer it to the SD card solution that is quite slow and has a short lifespan.

The downside is that you need to have that adapter with the SSD sticking out as a separate unit to the Raspberry Pi. There are cases which incorporate this into one case that you can buy. But I already had the very nice Flirc case and the adapter.

So, I decided to design a case that could assemble both the adapter and the Flirc case into one case. And this is the, I think, quite good-looking and well-functioning result.

All ports and connections are available. And the SSD can easily be swapped at any time.

Hardware required:

• 8 x m3 (3mm diameter) machine screws at 20mm length.
• A Raspberry Pi 4.
• Might work with previous RPi's as well, but untested. The cutouts are relatively big so might work. Please provide a “make” if you test this out.
• The Flirc case corresponding to your Raspberry Pi.
• The “Dezen USB 3.0 Type A to SATA Hard Drive Adapter”. This is a relabeled product I think, so you might find other products that are basically 100% compatible.

Printing instructions:

• Recommend 0.20 layer height.
• PETG recommended.
• Printing from provided 3mf files recommended as they have the necessary tree supports for a relatively clean print included.
