Description

In the early 2000s, Dell made a series of monitors that had an optional sound bar powered by a 24w, 12v barrel jack.  These monitors also functioned as a USB hub.  Pictured is the back of a 1908FPc monitor and a 3D printed bracket that locks into the sound bar tabs and holds a raspberry Pi board.  Also shown are a USB-B cable, a DVI to HDMI cable and a 12v to micro USB buck converter.  When the monitor is on, the 12v connector powers the Pi which sends video and USB into the monitor.  From the front, you don't see the Pi at all, but there is easy access to the Pi from the back.
