Description
I made this to add Gyro mount holes to BMX Frames that do not come pre-drilled and tapped for one.
Warning. This Mod requires the skill of an accomplished machinist or engineer to perform. You must check to be sure the spacing of the holes on this guide matches the spacing on the gyro tabs you have to install.
You can use a hand drill and hand taps to perform this operation.
At the time of it's design it worked with Fly Bikes Brand Gyro Tabs.

This has been tested on numerous high end BMX Frames. Good to Go
You must have machinist level skill to use this tool successfully. USE CAUTION!
It requires you to:
Orient and lightly clamp the guide correctly on the headtube of the frame. You are responsible for the location. Refer to an existing frame using the gyro of your choice as a reference for exact drill location and match that. (if you over tighten the clamp on the headtube you will ruin your frame. LIGHTLY clamp. Barely enough to hold the guide steady)
Use the guide as a pilot hole to drill the correct spacing for clearance holes and tap drill holes.
I supplied the Solidworks part file in case you need to check the locations or modify the design.
Drill directly through the pilot holes in the guide for location. Tap through the guide to help keep the threads straight.
You are responsible for the proper drill sizes, where to drill the clearance hole, and where to drill and tap the threaded hole.
Works Great!
Print 100% infill in PETG, ABS, or similar. PLA might crack, but could work also.
Not responsible for improperly modified frames ;)
