I like to carry my Framework expansion cards with me, but all the existing designs were too big, or required extra metal parts like magnets. This mini holder is just plastic and can carry 3 normal cards and one Ethernet card, and stacks them to make the whole design quite small. The little lids can be pulled off with a finger and thumb, and snap into place when reinserted.

Prints fine in PLA or PETG at 0.15mm layer height. Note that all parts have to printed at the same layer height to ensure a tight and quiet fit! Print one of the body and two of the cover. I recommend printing the main holder body with the bottom side on the bed, and the covers with the long flat side on the bed. Enable supports everywhere so the downward facing card slots and the cover tabs print well. You will have to completely remove the supports from the USB-C holes (see the last picture) or the cards won't fit.

Edit August 2026: add rounded tabs on the sides of the covers to make them much easier to remove.
