This attaches a standard 1" sidewalk chalk to a broom handle.  I have printed this in both PLA and PETG.  Prints without supports.  

You screw the nut on from the bottom.  As the nut goes up it will increase the clamping force on the chalk.

Print options: PLA or PETG, 0.2mm layer height, No supports.
