Description

This is a 100mm tall top hat I designed for my Trident 300 so that there is enough headroom for the Bondtech Indx upgrade.

This is a printed top hat so you don't need to buy any new alum(in)ium profile to raise the height or create a profile box on top of your printer.

I have also added different center sections, so it can fit on the 250 and 350 Vorons.

I was watching Stevebuilds showcase his Trident r2 upgrade and he said "You need at least 90mm extra headroom for indx to fit in the Trident" and I went searching but could only find shorter ones. So whats a nice round number that's at least 90. Well 100 seemed good without going OTT.

There is a top panel clamp, so that you can reuse your top panel with foam tape and clamp it down. This also holds the central, left and right panels together, to give it rigidity.

I have also added a "hexlock" which screws from the back to pull and hold the panels together. The joins in the main panels are a v grove design, so they lock and align into each other nicely.

I have printed all these parts in ABS lying down on the bed to the standard Voron print specs. All parts are small enough to print on a 250

to assemble this top hat you will need
56x M3x8mm
32x M3x5x4 Voron standard heatset inserts
24x M3 hammerhead or roll in nuts.

I have also included the step file for all you remixers

Happy printing
