Description

BTT Pi + TFT35 Desktop Case

This is a compact desktop enclosure designed specifically for the BigTreeTech BTT Pi v1.2 and the BigTreeTech TFT35 v2.1 touchscreen.

The display is mounted at a comfortable viewing angle while keeping the overall footprint small. Large ventilation openings provide good airflow, and all major ports remain easily accessible.

Features

  • Designed for BTT Pi v1.2

  • Designed for TFT35 v2.1 (TFT-35-SPI)

  • Angled touchscreen for improved visibility

  • Excellent ventilation for cooling

  • Full access to Ethernet, USB-A, HDMI, USB-C and power connections

  • Clean, compact desktop design

  • Simple assembly

Compatibility

This model was designed and tested using:

  • BigTreeTech BTT Pi v1.2

  • BigTreeTech TFT35 v2.1 (TFT-35-SPI)

Other hardware revisions may fit differently.

BOM

  • 7× Heat-set inserts (3.5 mm OD)

  • 3× M2.5 × 5 mm socket cap screws (for mounting BTT Pi to bottom)

  • 4× M2.5 × 8 mm socket cap screws (for mounting top to bottom)

Print Settings

  • No supports required for top. I printed bottom with snug normal supports for the port holes (threshold angle 15 in OrcaSlicer), but they may not be required. I punched out the supports with pliers.

  • I printed them both on their bases (bottom on the build plate.)

  • 0.2 mm layer height recommended

  • 3 perimeters

  • 15–20% infill

  • Tested with PETG

Assembly

  1. Press the heat-set inserts into the printed parts.

  2. Install the BTT Pi into the base.

  3. Connect the TFT35 ribbon cable and power cable.

  4. Route the ribbon cable and wifi antenna through the cable holes on the top

  5. Mount the display into the angled front housing. Use a dot or two of hot glue to ensure the screen doesn’t fall out or budge.

  6. Secure the top to the enclosure using the M2.5 socket cap screws.
