A compact mechanical push-pull lever with gear or hook knob. Making use of standard 12.8*7.3mm micro switches.

Components required

• Any lubricant.

• Hot glue.

• 5x6 ball spring (Aliexpress example)

• 2x micro-switch with minimum 11mm handle (Aliexpress example)

• M3 screw (6-8mm length)

• 4 x M2 screw (6-9mm length)

• M3x6 insert with 4.5OD

• 4 x M2x2 insert with 3.2OD

The outer diameter is easily changed in CAD. You need one insert per screw.

Printing instructions

• Print the housing front down with tree supports

• Print the rest with auto-orient and no supports

Assembly instructions

• Apply the inserts.

• Apply lubricant to the rod and put it in the pivot.

• Press fit the ball spring into the hole on the lever (might require a lot of force).

• Put the pivot with rod in the housing. Don't use too much force.

• Apply lubricant to the lever action plate and screw it on.

• Glue the micro switches in place (see the images as a reference for the orientation)

• Screw the knob on.
