Description

Overview Consistent powder charges are critical for precision reloading. Traditional funnels can often suffer from powder bridging or clumping, leading to uneven drops or spills. This 3D-printable funnel features an optimized internal spiral geometry designed to strictly fluidify the powder flow. With its highly versatile nozzle, you can directly fill cartridge cases ranging from .22 to .45 caliber, eliminating the need to swap funnels or use multiple adapters on your workbench.

Why use this?

  • Fluid Powder Flow: The internal flutes acts as a guide, creating a smooth vortex effect that ensures a continuous drop and completely prevents powder grain bridging.

  • Universal Fit: A single, precisely angled nozzle locks naturally onto the case mouth of anything from small varmint rounds (.22) up to large pistol or rifle calibers (.45).

  • Fully Scalable: The model can be easily scaled up or down in your slicing software to perfectly match your specific powder measure or custom workbench setup.

Technical Specifications & Printing To ensure the smoothest powder drop and best mechanical performance, please follow these guidelines:

  • Material: PLA, PETG, or ABS. (Note: Using PETG or an anti-static/carbon-filled filament is highly recommended to prevent static electricity from clinging to the powder grains).

  • Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm. A lower layer height is crucial to ensure the internal spiral is as smooth as possible, reducing friction. But 0.2 work well.

  • Walls/Perimeters: At least 3 to 4 wall loops for structural rigidity and a solid nozzle tip.

  • Infill: 15% to 20% is sufficient, but 100% at the nozzle base will add durability.

  • Post-Processing: If printing in standard PLA, wiping the inside of the funnel with an anti-static tumble dryer sheet before the first use will eliminate any static cling.

How to Use

  1. Seat the funnel's nozzle directly onto your empty, sized cartridge case.

  2. Pour your powder charge into the wide upper bowl.

  3. Watch the spiral geometry naturally channel the powder into a smooth, clog-free drop directly into the case.
