Description
I designed a replacement peg for my BLACK and DECKER Workmate portable workbench. The original part works just fine, however, I needed a few more as several have gone missing over the years.
I tried to remain true to the original design and dimensions, but modified it slightly as this part will be 3D printed, not injection molded. I removed the ribs on the cylinder and made it solid. I also optimized the count and spacing of ribs on the clamp end to be printed with 4 perimeters.
Print Settings
- Recommend PETG (PLA is too brittle for repeated insertion)
- x4 perimeters
- 15% infill
- 0.2mm layer
- Orient forward jaw face down (as shown in photo)
- Supports required on build surface
Shown printed in Hatchbox PETG - Green using supplied G-Code.
