Description

Backpack module for 5" FPV quadcopter.

I use it and have succesfully tested it on the ImmersionRC Apex 5" frame.
Can work on other quadcopters, but please do verify the dimensions.

  • backpack is 20mm high

  • slides over hexagonal 4mm standoffs/supports (they are 24mm apart on the Apex)

If you need other dimensions, let me know and I'll see what I can do :-)

This backpack has place for:

  1. an SMA antenna (for your video antenna)

  2. a T-antenna (e.g. ELRS or Crossfire). Tested with a radiomaster ELRS 2.4GHz T-antenna.

  3. a GPS module. Tested with the HGLRC m100 mini GPS.

  4. The GPS and video SMA antenna holder are slanted 25° backward.

  5. (optional - depending on version) an XT60E-male connector

Should be printed in TPU (I used Fiberology Fiberflex 40D).
For the versions without XT60E, no supports are needed at all.  The XT60E version needs support.

Mounting all the hardware may require a fight with the TPU. Let me know who won :-)

As always, if you liked this model, please drop a like and/or a comment. It costs you nothing and helps me out a lot.

And if you find the time to post a make, that would be great!
