This model is a practical add-on designed to integrate seamlessly with the original Elegoo Centauri Carbon spool holder using 4 mm PTFE tubing.

This is a remix of the original model by pascal_lb. Many thanks to Pascal for providing the original model.

• design includes a structural reinforcement via an extended arm to better counteract lever forces generated by wider or heavier spools, improving overall stability during printing.

• maximum supported spool width has been adjusted to 110 mm to be able to use 2,5kg/3kg/5kg spools

Notes:

• the original Elegoo spool holder must be cut off to install this model

• the holes for the PTFE tubes are intentionally designed slightly undersized to ensure a secure fit

• Depending on your tube, they may need to be minimally drilled out or stretched otherwise

• I had to use a hammer with little force to fully insert the original spool holder

• After the first installation, the spool holder can be rotated with some force so the lever points straight down

PLA was used for this print. Since the original spool holder remains the primary load-bearing component, there is very little mechanical stress on the mounting mechanism itself, making PLA sufficient for this application.
