Description

This faceplate holds all the parts for a highly-accurate GPS-based clock, running on a Raspberry Pi Pico, Pico 2, or Pico W/2W.

The full build guide is located in my time-pi repository: Pico 1U GPS Clock for Mini Rack

Print with the front faceplate on the bed, no supports required. Tolerances on the clock itself are fairly tight, so you don't need to use the retention screws—but make sure your printer is accurate or you might have to sand down the inner surfaces to get the 7 segment clock face display to fit!

There are two STL files included:

  • Pico GPS Clock 1U Faceplate.stl: Standard faceplate, you can either leave the clock face bare, or add your own tape/filter on the front of it for better legibility

  • Pico GPS Clock 1U Faceplate - 0.12mm integrated filter: Depending on the filament you use, one 0.12mm layer should be translucent enough for the clock face to shine through, making it look like the clock is 'embedded' inside the print.
