Various permutations of a tapering board that extends below a side oriented bird feeder/soot cake box. The birds mentioned in the Summary sometimes struggle when perching on side oriented feeders because it forces them to kick their tail/tail feathers out under the feeder. This Board aims to counteract that placement and provide a more comfortable surface for them to brace against. I have a beautiful pair of Northern Flickers that occasionally Stop by for a snack (as seen in one of the provided photos, sorry for quality) and am hoping to improve my rating on Yelp. I am happy to add additional permutations upon request.
