My fish tank came with a very small glass lid. I wanted to cover most of the tank while still having quick access to feed the fish so I cut down some scrap acrylic and modeled this hinge to clip the acrylic panel onto the existing glass panel. The print-in-place hinge sometimes fused on me, so I modeled in some supports that I cut away by quickly running a box cutter in the hinge area.

The model is tuned to a 5.6mm gap for the acrylic and 3.2mm for the glass. I included a step file so that can be easily modified.
