Thing 1625233 doesn't work for my boards, the holes in the board are wrong and the trimpot is off to the side. The pins that go through the board are too thick and I had to cut them off.

I think there may be a few slightly different versions of the board available online. Try Thing 1625233 (Thingiverse) if your board doesn't fit properly.

Maybe my board is one of those fake LM2596 modules.

This is a version that fits my boards, I've included a picture for you to compare.

I added some vents to release internal heat and also included a version that has the connection leads off to the side so that the capacitor isn't in the way.

The boards are slightly asymmetrical so I marked the IN and OUT ends so you can align the board. The lid will fit both ways so make sure you check the pot is visible.

For the side entry the lid will only fit one way
