What

This remix adds a mount for an ADXL345 accelerometer to the permanent BL-touch mount. If you already have a permanent mount and cabling for a BL-Touch, might as well throw in an ADXL345!

Requirements

• 1x base abl_plate from the original design by Teaching Tech. I included the version from 2021-06-11, it may have been updated.
• 2x M3x4 or M3x5 for ADXL345
• 2x M3x7 (or longer M3 bolt) for BL-Touch/3D-Touch
• 2x M3 nut for BL-Touch/3D-Touch

Why

When you use a firmware that supports it (like Klipper) you can apply input shaping to your prints. This allows a printer to print faster while not dropping quality, or keep printing at the same speeds but with improved quality.

v0.1 (deleted)

First test showed the initial design to be far too flexible. This will lead to incorrect readings from the ADXL345.

v0.2

Increased thickness of mountplate and raised height with an additional ,5mm to clear the corners of the pcb. Added additional screw holes for both testing and mounting options.

Clear improvements on rigidity.

v0.3

Removed the top part of the ADXL345 mount. This limits the mounting option to only 1 but the lower mount-point is the most rigid anyways. This also provides room for the solder-blobs behind the through-holes on the PCB.
