This is my model of Qidi X-Plus/Max 3 Spool Holder Cap with enlarged flange which allows use of dryer box without the lid or without the box at all.

It's useful when you want to print without the lid or like in my case you have wider 1100g spool that prevents you from closing the lid or without the box.

Printing

I recommend single part model, unless you are fine with gluing the parts together (dowels themselves may or may not be strong enough). I used:

• 4 perimeters
• 4 top layers
• 4 bottom layers
• 20% infill
• snug supports everywhere
• brim (for single part printed upside down)

I printed single part version upside down.
