This is a refining pin hole testing board that is meant to accompany the main pin and axle hole testing board.

In my case, after determining that the largest pin hole size on the main testing board was the best, but could be better if larger, I made and printed this model to determine what would best for allowing lego axles to rotate easily. For me, it turned out to be a hole with a diameter of 5.3 mm.
