Every spool I have has a filamentclip, that is used both for the PTFE tube coming out of the drybox, as on the spool. I use one that optionally can hold an NFC chip, for identifying and keeping inventory of my spools. See

This holder can be screwed to an enclosure and can hold the 5 colours in their proper order as pre-loaded to the MMU.

I included one with “just” recessed numbers and one with numbers that can be printed on the MMU with numbers printed in a different color.
