This is a tiny box to hold a wide NodeMCU board. The box is tall enough that you can cram a few select parts underneath the board. There's a cutout for the (ugh) micro-USB port, and a hole to stick a 3mm LED out, or run some wires through.

In particular, I use this box to contain the various IoT device controllers that are scattered all over my house. Stick this box next to the IR receiver on a device and control it over MQTT. Or hook a servo up and press your garage door or electric blinds.

Due to the semi-permanent and small size of this box, there's no screws or snap fittings. You're going to have the hot glue gun out to insulate your components anyway, so a dab'll do ya.

There are a lot of NodeMCU-type devices out there. This is a wider version than some of the versions I've seen. The link to where I bought mine no longer exists, but I think this is the same thing. The top is measured to be exactly tall enough to fit the wifi chip on my board. If yours has a larger chip, the Fusion 360 file has user parameters for everything (Including the USB port, if we ever join the 2010s at some point in the future and start putting USB-C ports on these things.)
