When looking for a spool holder for a large spool, I've noticed this nice model. Although, its rollers were too scary to print - very tall and requiring lots of support. So I came up with the idea to use a plastic (PVC) pipe instead of the main cylinder of a roller. They're much easier to print and everything should fit snugly.

In the US, one of the most common plumbing pipes is 1", but it actually has a 1.315" outer diameter and 1.033" inner diameter

In Europe, the pipe is 32mm outside and 28mm inside

How this thing works: 1. Get your 608 bearings like in the original model 2. Print your base - original or remix with hexagonal holes 3. Print 4 minipins from this model - round end goes into a bearing, hex goes into roller plug 4. Print 4 roller plugs - european or American size 5. Cut two pieces of pipe - 12cm long (I thought of using this pipe cutter knife, but did the cutting manually without it - ) 6. Put plugs in both sides of a pipe piece, attach minipins and bearings, and put it on the base … 10. PROFIT!!!
