Hey folks,

inspired by the video on Wolfgang's channel I became aware of @pixelwave's design. At first I really liked it, but after I printed it out and was in the process of preparing the case, it occurred to me that I need to do something of my own....

With that, I defined my goals:

• Use as many original parts of the case as possible.
• Easy to print and assemble.
• Changes should be reversible.
• Airflow must be significantly improved compared to the original front.

Thus, my interpretation of a modified front for the Fractal Node 304 was created. Which is the base of my new TrueNas Scale NAS system.

Additionally needed parts:

• LED Power Button with 16 mm diameter: Link to product page
• M3 threaded insert: Link to product page
  • (e.g. M3x6x5 or M3x8x5)
• M3 screw with a maximum length of 20 mm.

Changelog:

• 2023-08-20: Initial release.
• 2023-11-24: Added a new version of the front cover so that the filter can be removed without disasembling the whole system.
