I needed simple and lightweight diffuser for macro photography. I was unable to find suitable diffuser for my Godox v350 flash so i created my own. I have 2 macro lenses: Laowa 100mm and Canon 100mm and this diffuser works well with both of them.
As a diffusing material there is many options. I used lint free car wipes and a rubberband to attach it to the diffuser. This diffuser is 100mm wide on the large end and 175mm tall when large end facing down.
I recommend to print it large end towards the build plate.
Use brim to ensure that the model will stick properly to the print surface.
No supports needed.
Use whatever layer height you prefer.
I printed mine from PLA and PETG but i think PETG is too transparent and it didn't reflect enough light towards the subject, PLA works much better.
