I'm considering getting into miniatures and needed a place for my brushes. Most seem to be a specific style with the triangular pencil grip. This box will hold brushed up to about 20.5cm longX1cm diameter, and if there is a number/triangle finger hold, then that needs to be before 14cm. Magnets (3mmx2mm) are used for the lid closure and will press fit, but I always use a speck of glue to be sure they stay. The body has thumb notches to make separation a bit easier, and there are small breather holes, so if the brushes are still not dry it will allow moisture out.

Print uses the whole 235X235 bed, with mouse ears for warping.

I designed it so the brushes would not ram forward and smash the bristles, so the protective sleeves are not critical. Also, the back end is slightly raised, so pressing on the bottom of the brush will elevate the front a bit to make it easier to remove.

Next version will likely get a stop to prevent the finger hold/numbers from rotating.

The mouse ears on the print are thin, but stopped the warping issues. They are thin, so they don't break away, but a sharp xacto or break-away knife removes in seconds.
