Customizable Polygon Piggybank

Modern Piggybank

This is my design for the piggybank contest. I went for a modern looking polygon look with interchangable front and back panels, that can be customized. I provided some panels but you are free to let your imagination go nuts!

I tried to incoperate some benefits of 3D Printing, i.e. the print in place hinge and the fully encased magnets. It is printable on a Prusa Mini. To use this model as is you need two round magnets with a diameter of 5mm and an height of 2mm. I included the Fusion360 file so that everyone can adjust the model to their needs

Printing Guide

Printing is fairly easy, there are just a few important things that need to be mentioned. It is very important, that if you decide to print it like shown in the images, that the bottom faces are leveled and not at an angle. You need to pause the print shortly before the holes of the magnets are covered and then insert the magnets before you continue the print. You may need to adjust some raft or brim seetings on the Mini, given that this model pushes the limits of the build volume. Depending on the capabilities of your printer you may need less additional support for the arches.
