Lately I have been using a lot of 6x2mm magnets for Gridfinity storage solutions as well as designing some electronic control housings with removeable lids. I wanted a quick tolerance test to see whether my CAD designs should have 0mm tolerances (= a hole with exactly 6.0 mm diameter) all the way up to 0.5mm tolerances (= a hole with 6.5 mm diameter).

Turns out with my current PLA filament and settings on a Bambu Labs X1C, I can fit a magnet with 0mm tolerance using firm pressure (ie. a jig or pliers to squeeze the magnet in), while with 0.1 - 0.2mm tolerance I could use finger pressure to fit the magnet in. At 0.3mm+ tolerances, the magnet was too loose and would be easily dislodged out of the hole.
