Printing

The male cap (one with locking tabs) should ideally be printed at an angle, to minimize the chance of the tabs breaking off when bent.

No supports needed, but give it a nice brim for better build plate adhesion. Ideally 100% infill, rigid filament, minimal layer height, slow speed.

The female cap is ready to be used right away, while male should have an O-ring added to it — according to MC4's specs it's a silicone o-ring 7mm I.D., 10mm O.D., with 1.5mm C.S.:
