This is a holder for a wax seal spoon. It holds the spoon between two printed parts using magnets. The holder will warm up the wax in about 1-2 minutes. STEP and Fusion 360 files are also available if you want to customize it. If you end up changing the holder to fit your specific spoon please don't forget to publish it as a remix for others.

Specifications

This is designed to be used with a spoon handle that has a maximum diameter of 11 mm. The spoon is about 25 mm above the flame. The magnets that are inserted are 6 mm x 2 mm (width x height respectively). I bought the spoon at stempelhuis. The tea light can be a maximum diameter of 40 mm.

Printing

Keep the original orientation of the parts. Supports should not be needed. Its best to test print the top part first to see if your magnets will fit. Parts are designed for 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.4 mm layer height but should work fine on a smaller one.

Magnets

You should only need 4 magnets (one for each magnet hole). Use a bit of superglue if the magnets can still move around. This should be strong enough to hold a small wax spoon.
