Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen einen Sculpfun S30Pro Lasergravierer bekommen. Die Maschine ist klasse, benötigt aber meiner Meinung nach ein paar Optimierungen:

1. Cablechain Die lose rumliegenden Kabel und der Schlauch zur X-Achse gefielen mir überhaupt nicht. Ich habe daher ein paar Halter für eine Cablechain entworfen und gedruckt. Die Montage ist recht einfach und aus den Bildern ersichtlich. Die Cablechain läuft auf einem flachen Alu-Profil, das mit dem vorderen und dem hinteren Halter verschraubt ist. Als Cablechain kommt meine “Open Cable Chain with Clip 30x40x20mm” (https://www.printables.com/de/model/159800-open-cable-chain-with-clip-30x40x20mm) zum Einsatz.

2. Schrauben des Rahmens Die verwendeten Schrauben sind recht “weich”, sodaß ich die meisten von ihnen durch solche aus Edelstahl ersetzt habe. Für die “M5x18” habe ich “M5x20” montiert, die passen genau so gut. ACHTUNG: Vorsicht beim Anziehen der Schrauben! Die VA-Schrauben können die Gewinde im Alu leicht zerstören, wenn man sie zu fest anzieht!

3. Schlauch Air Assist Der mitgelieferte Schlauch knickt sehr leicht, ich habe ihn daher durch einen passenden Silikonschlauch ersetzt

4. Kabel- und Schlauchführung am Laserkopf Um das Kabel und den Schlauch direkt am Laserkopf vernünftig und sicher zu führen, habe ich eine Halterung entworfen, gedruckt und montiert. Durch diese wird verhindert, daß sich Kabel und Schlauch zwischen Laserkopf und X-Achse/Linearführung verklemmen. Die Kabelführung ist mit zwei Gewindeeinsätzen (Einschmelzgewinde) M4x4x6 versehen

5. Halter für den Fokussierungszylinder Der Zylinder braucht einen festen Platz, sonst ist er (zumindest bei mir) ganz schnell nicht mehr auffindbar ;-) Zur Befestigung werden zwei Nutensteine M4 (sind im Tütchem mit den Ersatzschrauben) und zwei Schrauben M4x10 benötigt.

Die Modifikationen (insbesondere Cablechain und Kabelführung) passen für den S30 und den S30Pro. Ob sie auch am S30ProMax (verstärkter Rahmen) ohne Änderungen eingesetzt werden können, kann ich leider nicht sagen. Gleiches gilt für S9 und S10. Damit ihr die Teile evtl. anpassen könnt, sind neben den STL's auch die FreeCAD- und Step-Dateien beigefügt.

Ich habe alle Teile aus PETG gedruckt, 3 Perimeter, jeweils 4 Schichten (0,24mm) oben und unten, 20% Infill (adaptisch kubisch). Supports werden nur beim Halter für den Zylinder (upside-down drucken) benötigt (geht aber evtl. auch ohne).

I got a Sculpfun S30Pro laser engraver a few days ago. The machine is great, but needs a few modifications in my opinion:

1. Cable chain I didn't like the loosely lying cables and the hose to the X-axis at all. So I designed and printed some holders for a cable chain. The assembly is quite simple and can be seen in the pictures. The cable chain runs on a flat aluminum profile that is screwed to the front and rear brackets. 2. Frame screws The screws used are quite "soft" so I replaced most of them with stainless steel ones. For the "M5x18" I mounted "M5x20", they fit just as well. ATTENTION: Be careful when tightening the screws! The VA screws can easily destroy the threads in the aluminum if you tighten them too much!

3. Air Assist hose The supplied hose kinks very easily, so I replaced it with a suitable silicone hose

4. Cable and hose routing on the laser head In order to guide the cable and the hose sensibly and safely directly to the laser head, I designed, printed and assembled a bracket. This prevents the cable and hose from getting caught between the laser head and the X-axis/linear guide. The cable guide is provided with two threaded inserts M4x4x6

5. Focusing cylinder holder The cylinder needs a fixed place, otherwise it will be lost (at least in my workshop) very quickly ;-) Two slot nuts M4 (are in the bag with the spare screws) and two screws M4x10 are required for attachment.

The modifications (especially cable chain and cable routing) fit the S30 and the S30Pro. Unfortunately, I cannot say whether they can also be used on the S30ProMax (reinforced frame) without modifications. The same applies to S9 and S10. In addition to the STLs, the FreeCAD and Step files are also included so that you can adapt the parts if necessary.

I printed all parts with PETG, 3 perimeters, 4 layers (0.24mm) each on top and bottom, 20% infill (adaptic cubic). Supports are only required for the holder for the cylinder (upside-down printing) (but it may also work without).
