The most common place where a power adapter fails is at the junction between the cable and connector, which experiences the most stress. This cable stess relief helps support the cable so it doesn't break/fray, extending its life considerably.

A few notes:

• I've built this taking the measurements off my power adapter, which is an Amazon bought compatible one. From a visual inspection the connector seems identical to the original Apple MagSafe 2 one, but I can't guarantee it 100%. Some scaling might be needed.
• I've used this in combination with a spiral cable protector, so the cable grip is sized for that.

I've included a drawing screenshot with all measurement, I plan on including a version with the cable channel dimensioned for just the cable, with no protector.
