Lego Watch Clasp and Link
Từ thiết kế lại đầu của các bộ phận đồng hồ Lego.
Mô tả
I found a LEGO watch in a bin of LEGOs that were given to my son. The only problem was the clasp was nowhere to be found. I looked on Thingiverse and found one clasp, but it would not print and mechanically did not function. So, I did what any of us on here would do, I set out to model up one from scratch.
There are 3 things as part of this thing.
- The Link
- The Female Clasp
- The Male Clasp
All you need is the watch head, and you'll have a complete watch. I may update this post down to road to include a closing link so that you can print a complete bracelet without the watch head.
Print Settings
Set supports to on, resolution to 0.1, infill density to 50%, wall count to 4, and your top and bottom layer count to 6.
I strongly recommend printing in the orientation shown in the images where the objects are yellow. This will provide the greatest strength based on the stresses that will be placed on the clasp and link.
Set build plate adhesion type to brim. Set the infill to Quarter Cubic, if using eSlicer. Also, set the top and bottom pattern to concentric for the best surface finish
Post-Printing
Remove the brim and support. Depending on your retraction settings, you may have to clean up some stringing or blobs.
