A hook for manually opening and closing Velux roof windows, with a bayonet mount designed for the Kaercher WV Evolution Extension Set, sold as a pole set for their window vacuums.

I printed in PLA on its side at 0.2mm layer height, with 100% infill and 4 perimeters for strength (sliced with organic support everywhere). So far, it's strong enough that the friction fit on the pole slips out before the hook fails!

The original design was printed and reported working at 25% infill, but my window latch is both high up and very stiff, so I went for overengineered. For info, I did a draft test print at 0.3mm layer height, printed vertically (standing tall with the hook pointing up), and the hook failed in use at a layer transition.
