I hate spending so much time in my life sorting socks after washing and drying them. One can use sock clips to pair the socks before you throw them in the laundry

I have seen many variants of sock clips but I did not like it much. I wanted to create another design that would be robust enough to survive washing and drying in a tumble dryer. Other designs have exposed parts like hanging hooks which often break. This clip is mostly hidden inside the socks and does not make any noise during the drying in a tumble dryer. I have tested several cycles and works OK.

For printing, I recommend using PETG, as it can survive higher temperatures. I used infill 20%, which seems to be sufficient. However, if you choose 100% infill the filament usage is not much higher, and robustness will be even better. You can print with various colors for each family member.
