A counterweight for the turn crafter commander lathe. This is to be used with ½" bolts, washers, and nuts to achieve a balanced rotational mass for off center or out of balance work. To install this, you need to remove the chrome handwheel and the belt guard as well as the little hex standoff and the plastic piece. You will then place this onto the spindle shaft with the boss facing outwards and reinstall the chrome handwheel to clamp it in place. You can adjust the counterweight mass by adding or removing nuts, washers, bolt length as well as adjusting the distance from center.

I would only recommend using this at very low rpms to prevent the rotational forces from pulling this printed component apart and creating shrapnel.
