Playing Cards Box No.1 was designed to fit in a box. This box is a little messier and is meant to be out in the open.

I used 8x3mm round magnets (amazon link) to hold it all together.

I originally made this with card magic in mind but it can easily be used as a “safe”. Hide an item in plain sight inside this box that looks like a deck of cards.

Set your layer lines to .25mm thick (about the thickness of a standard playing card), use a light grey filament (white is too bright), and glue a playing card face down on one part of the box and one face up on the other.

Even from even a small distance this box will fool almost anyone. You can even place one or two real playing cards on top to really sell the illusion.

I used Overture Easy Rock White for the example. It works really well on camera and from a distance but I think a plain light grey filament is best for closer inspection.
