The shape with the indent is easier to pick up. In fact the smooth side version is so annoying to pick up that you can use it as a gag toy or a game to see how fast you can pick them up.

These are not stackable but have no preferred orientation, just throw them down where they're needed.

Print 0.28mm line thickness and 15% infill, 3 lines per wall. No supports needed.
