Waveshare HDMI to CSI adapter case

This 2-part case is designed for the Waveshare HDMI to CSI adapter card. This card is used to convert the video signal from an HDMI device to the CSI connector on a Raspberry Pi.

It can be used to interface HDMI webcams (like a GoPro) to a Raspberry Pi.

This particular case fits the Waveshare adapter shown in the pictures.

The case is pressure fit using 4 pins that are part of the top half, through mounting holes on the circuit board and into holes on the bottom half. The fit is a little tight but should make a good connection. The CSI ribbon cable connector can be accessed while the case halves are together but is easier to attach when the card is not in the case.

Take care separating the halves as the pins could break off the top half if too much force is applied to one side
