Very Tall/slim model support tower

This is a support tower for very tall and slim prints. Tall and slim prints are very hard to print even with a large brim. Yes, you can lay tall prints on their side for more strength and easier print, but if you want to print many parts or need XY accuracy due to geometry printing in the Z axis is desired.

The tower consumes about 40g of material at full height. The tips of the bridges are placed inside the tall model then exported as an STL and brought back into the slicer. These should be placed into the model to make a bridge. The bridges should be trimmed to shorten the bridge as much as possible. Some slicers do the trim better (mesh boolean trim works best).

After the print is finished you trim the bridges with snips.

There are 4 models a 1, 2, 4, and 6 bridge towers.
