Scan Card Badge Holder
Mẫu trống cho một giá đỡ trông gọn gàng cho huy hiệu thẻ quét.
Mô tả
Blank template for a neat looking holder for scan card badges. Fits standard plastic card size, 85.60 mm by 53.98 mm.
Note that it prints in 2 parts, the bottom has alignment tabs which line up with slots in the top to snap closed together, and you'll want to glue them together to ensure it doesn't pop apart. Sometime you have to use an exacto-knife to trim where the alignment tab starts printing, since it's a tiny bit wider than the rest. I've tested prints with 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height and 0.25mm nozzle at 0.1mm layer height, and both fit together nicely.
Photos include text and pixelized avatar vectors added in via Fusion 360, but you can add whatever you like to the blank space from the included step file. Text alone can also be easily added in eSlicer directly with the ‘T’ shortcut. I got the avatars from 8biticon, did some color flattening in Gimp, vectorizing in Inkscape, imported them into Fusion 360, and extruded different block color chunks to different heights. Do a color change at 1.8mm and everything raised will be a different color, as seen in the photos.
TLDR:
- If you want an image, open step file, add vector and text, extrude layer(s) to various heights.
- If you just want text, it can be easily added in eSlicer with ‘T’ shortcut.
- Set a color change at 1.80mm.
- Use a knife to trim alignment tab if part doesn't fit.
- Use glue to keep it from popping apart.
2023-11-06 update - Adjusted dimensions so that it is no longer a 0.25mm nozzle exclusive, made it slimmer, added rear opening to aid in sliding card back out if needed.
