Gauge Gauges

This is my first attempt at these gauges. The needle has a spring in the back of the gauge that makes the needle springy. totally pointless but i made it for the gag of the name. The meshes are definitely not perfect or well optimized for printing. Feel free to remix these and improve on the design.

Important notes:

• I had to print each piece individually to keep good resolution in the parts.
• The gauge hole i had to lightly open up with an exact-o knife.
• Brim was used on the Needle Shaft with needle face down.
• The spring popped up some mesh errors, i ignored them, and it printed fine. lol
• I designed this model using a tolerance of .0075'' or .15mm between moving parts according to what tolerance I found my P1P could handle well.

Print Settings:

• Infill - 100%
• Supports - Yes
• Initial layer height - .2mm
• print layer height - .1mm

Assembly:

Insert needle shaft into gauge from the front. Install the small C clip on the shaft in the small opening in the back side of the gauge. Next, the clock spring has a tooth on the outer end to notch into the gauge itself where it will need to be glued, and in the middle of the spring is another notch that should also be glued to the needle shaft. there is also an end cap you can use to help hold the spring in the needle shaft, but doesn't seem fully necessary.
