This is a shield for the spec main breaker used in the FIRST Robotics Competition. After one of ours got smashed during an event, we repaired it with a teacher's credential and some gaffer tape. That lit a light bulb under me.

This design is, to my knowledge, the one with the lowest filament usage going. Part of it is that it uses two standard-sized gift cards (or credit cards, or hotel keys, or whatever) to bridge the two sides across. They're pretty comfortable in there, but a drop or two of CA glue will add confidence.

Like other designs, you'll bolt it down from underneath to a sturdy plate. It won't take the hardest of hits, but I don't think any printed breaker shield is appropriate for those hits. I'd recommend this for secondary protection from stray parts or game pieces, protected by some other robot structure to soak up the worst of it.

Won't fix everything, but it does what it does with low resource usage.
