ALLSOME Mortise Jig Base

I bought this mortise jig from Ali to use it for loose tenon/Festool Domino like joinery. With this base it should be possible to make mortises also to the surface of the board not only to the edge. The base has 5mm holes for shelf pins to register from edge of the material. Holes are in 32mm distance from each other and from the center. There are models for most common material thicknesses. Please consider it as work in progress so there will be changes in the future. Printed with draft 0.25 mm layer and 25% infill.

Update 1: Lowered base height to 5 mm, moved bit center point by 1 mm

Update 2: Base height back to 6 mm, rods sunk by 1mm instead, added base for 64mm router, will need two M4 allen head 30 mm screws + nuts.

Update 3: Added v2 of the router base that allows the router to be placed closer to the milled part → shorter router bits, printed with draft 0.25 mm layer, 3 perimeters and 25% infill

Update 4: Added pair of register holes, that place the center of the mortise 20 mm from edge, fixed 32mm distances

Update 4.1: Added pair of register holes for material thickness

Update 4.2: Register pin holes diameter increased to fit this pin from Ali. (M5 x5pcs, 15mm)

Update 5: Added holder for 35mm vacuum hose, will need two M6 25mm screws with allen head.

Update 6: Please note that with base for 18mm and 16mm material thickness the router chuck can touch/collide with aluminium base bridge. It depends on length of your router bit and the depth of the mortise.
