Dell WD19 Dock Cable connector cover

This is a cover for the Dell WD19 Dock USB-C cables - Sometimes we have the plastic covers break off. Although the cables then work fine, people don't like to use the cables with “exposed” ends.

As Dell classes these as "user damage", they won't replace under warranty, so I remixed a WD15 connector cover by mBmD for correct cable geometry, and added a hole for the cable light to shine through. This can be filled with a dab of hot glue before assembly to give some diffusion.

V2 changes some of the internal geometry for a better fit, and changes the outside radii for chamfers, to improve printability without supports.
