A medium sized rear quad fin for use with the FCS II (FCS 2) fin plug system.

Designed to be printed flat on its side and mirrored once to complete a rear set. I have tested these with the following settings;

• 0.15 layer height using a 0.4mm nozzle
• 4 perimeters
• 7 top and 7 bottom layers
• 25% Cubic infill
• Printed in PETG

Beware with using FCS II that every time you remove and insert the fins the quick release will deform the indent on the tabs of the fins which will eventually lead to a loose fit. You can add a grub screw into the fin box for added security

Play around with settings to adjust the stiffness and overall flex, PETG is very tough but being more flexible they won't have the ‘rebound’ or spring you would typically get with fibreglass conventional fins, maybe PLA would suit and be more stiff? I have surfed these with two regular front fins and found it to be fine with no noticeable issues. These will easily turn your thruster set of fins into quads if you have been looking to experiment and are unsure if a quad setup on your board will suit you surfing style.

I am aiming to produce a full printable set and will continue to experiment with different print orientations in the future.
