War of the Ring (2nd Edition) Insert Setup Nhanh

This is the insert and organiser for the war game The War of the Ring Second edition. (https://www.aresgames.eu/games/war-of-the-ring-line/war-of-the-ring-second-edition)

With this insert I wanted to solve two issues:

• Ability to sleeve the cards
• Have a quick setup for the game

For the sleeves, I have used Gamegenic Tarot Prime Board game sleeves 73x122mm (https://www.gamegenic.com/product/prime-board-game-sleeves/).

I have created 5 trays, with one of the trays holding the board on one side of the box, so that everything fits nicely. You will have to remove the original insert.

The trays

I created a setup tray and a reinforcements and cards tray for each player. This way, setting the game is a breeze and you have conveniently ordered your reinforcements. An additional tray holds the different tokens.

You can print each set of trays in the faction colours, makes easier the setup and storing.

I have created PSD files with the labels for the trays. As I have the game in Spanish, my labels are in Spanish. You can find the ZIP file that contains them attached here (in the “other files” section).

I used a vinyl label sheet for durability.

The Free People Reinforcements tray

There is one compromise I had to do in order to fit everything in four trays: only three mounted units (Elite) fit in one cell. That is why you will find in the pictures that I stored one Elven Elite with the Regulars and that the cell for the Elven Leaders (which they are not in the reinforcements) is used to store the non-fitting Elite units for Gondor, The North and the Rohan.
